Prenatal Massage
Assists the body as it prepares for labor and birth. Addresses the common physical pains and mental stresses of pregnancy. Allows for a practice of deep listening and intimacy with oneself and one's baby.
Labor Massage
In prelabor, massage offers much needed rest between contractions. At times, a massage during prelabor brings about progressing contractions. In active labor, massage extends much needed physical support as one surfs the crests of each contraction and recovers in-between. This looks like me following you around and adapting to your labor process, whether you may find yourself swaying side to side, on all fours, or laying down.
Postnatal Massage
Floods extra vitality into the body as it once again transforms. Helps the uterus to come back to size. Flushes fluid retention. Gifts much needed self-care after the newborn arrives. Breast massage is offered if desired for swollen breasts, blocked milk ducts, and mastitis.
Craniosacral Therapy
Uses gentle, light touch to listen to the movements within the craniosacral system and encourage the body's self-healing nature. With CST, tension is released deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve the body's overall health. This is a calming modality for newborns and new parents alike.
Doula Services
Complete Support throughout your pregnancy and labor: 3 prenatal visits to prepare for labor; present during your home birth; and two postnatal visits. I offer emotional and physical support, information, guidance and advocacy. I support you in having a physiological birth.
Sound Healing
Envelope yourself in therapeutic sound frequencies to promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing. I weave together an elixir of sound specifically based on your needs and desires. You may recognize the sound of singing bowls, tuning forks, drums, gongs and my voice; however, more likely you will be in a trance state, between worlds, carried by the sound waves.
